Instagram, Preparing for YouTube & Afrocan Goddess

We are finally six months into 2017! If you watch Instagram stories, you would have seen me very pleased as well as clad in my robe and doek this morning. “Celebrate the small wins” a crowd favorite, aka Sibu “Verified on Twitter” Mpanza, said once on his YouTube channel. So let’s celebrate!

A collaboration with Afrocan Goddess

A couple of months ago, I collaborated with BAAB Media and Afrocan Goddess. Afrocan Goddess is a natural hair care brand started by Wydra Xiluva Mathebula on September 26, 2015. Back then they only sold a hair mask, but on December 18, 2016 after their re-brand and relaunch, the woman led operation got down to business.

In May, under the creative direction of Zintle Ramano alongside Kamogelo Hlaswe’s brilliant photography, I participated in the ‘Be Enthroned‘ project.

Celebrating Instagram and starting out on YouTube

Instagram was never really my thing up until this year. As some of you know, I restarted my Instagram page on December 31, 2016. The goal being to create content and a page worth looking at. Over the past few months I have been toying around with the idea of starting a YouTube channel.

This year I hosted ZAConnect, I was interviewed by Beliya Ndlovu for Channel Africa, and I appeared on the A1 TV earlier this month.  With this practice in front of the camera, I am finally ready to launch the Misa Narrates YouTube channel on July 2, 2017!
