Being Her is a romantic short film. According to Director, Sisanda Mgedezi, “The film is an expression of a loving relationship from the point of view of the boyfriend. The idea first came to me as a love letter to someone I was seeing at the time and soon developed into a short film. It acts like a conversation between me and my friends about all the little stupid things that made me fall in love with this woman.”

Being Her was nominated and won at the South Africa International Lifestyle and Fashion Film Festival, Bokeh in 2020.
